The 1QR Promise: your codes never die.

A printed QR code is a commitment — it's on your menus, your signs, your business cards. Much of the QR industry breaks that commitment on purpose: "free" trials end, and printed codes silently stop working until you pay. We think that's wrong, so we built 1QR to make it impossible.

1. Static codes can never expire. They're generated on your device and encode your content directly. There's no server in the loop — we couldn't turn them off if we wanted to.
2. Dynamic codes keep redirecting. Period. On the free plan, after a cancelled subscription, forever. Paid plans add more codes, analytics history, smart links and API volume — they never decide whether your printed code works.
3. No watermarks, no bait-and-switch. The free generator is actually free: unlimited static codes, full styling, no logo stamped on your work, no surprise "your trial ended" email.
4. Your content stays yours. What you encode never leaves your device unless you choose an account feature. No ads, no trackers, no selling data.

How is this sustainable?

Serving a redirect costs a fraction of a cent. Services that disable codes aren't covering costs — they're creating leverage. We'd rather earn upgrades with features: more dynamic codes and mini-pages, full scan analytics, smart app links, and a bigger developer API. Cancel anytime; everything you've printed keeps working.
